ARIEL STRING QUARTET
The Ariel String Quartet formed in Israel when the musicians were students at the Jerusalem Academy Middle School of Music and Dance. In addition to performing the traditional string quartet repertoire, the Ariel Quartet regularly collaborates with many Israeli and non-Israeli musicians and composers, The group follows the unusual practice of having the two violinists switch parts periodically.
Presented by Sounds in the Sanctuary in partnership with Congregation Kehillath Israel and with support from Ballets Russes Arts Initiative
