Help Support JCVT

April 16, 2024

Dear Friends of Jewish Communities of Vermont (JCVT),

“All of Israel is responsible for one another.” (Talmud Shavuot 39a) We want to share our gratitude to all the individuals and organizations who have supported JCVT to reinvigorate and elevate Jewish life in Vermont. There has never been a more important time to bolster our children and community with pride and courage in being Jewish. Reinforcing Jewish culture, values, and traditions gives hope for the future and the tools to navigate these uncertain times.

As we prepare for Passover, Jewish Communities of Vermont envisions countless opportunities for hope and Tikkun Olam repairing the world that we can do together.

JCVT relies on your much needed support to continue our work!

This summer and fall, we are continuing to focus on Regional Gatherings, connecting people to their Jewish roots and to the Jewish community in Vermont.

By supporting JCVT with your support and enthusiasm, you enable our organization to grow with innovative programming and engagement.

Look at the impact your generous contributions have made!

  • JCVT’s monthly gift of books and engagement through PJ Library in Vermont makes a huge impact for over 600 children ages 0-12, their families and communities.

  • JCVT is currently in our third year of the Covenant Foundation Signature Grant of $150,000, providing resources to Jewish organizations to enhance Jewish life throughout the state.

  • The Harold Grinspoon Foundation Havurah Initiative provides grant money to Jewish organizations to form Jewish affinity groups.

  • The Harold Grinspoon Foundation Family and Teen Grants provides money for statewide family and teen programming.

  • Weekly JCVT Newsletter, Facebook and Website share local events and articles.

  • Jewish advocacy work throughout the state

Thank you for your support! You make it possible for JCVT to make a positive impact on Jewish life in Vermont. Please donate online at jcvt.org or send a check to JCVT, P.O Box 4472, Burlington, VT 05406.

Many blessings for a joyful, healthy, and liberating Passover,

Rabbi Tobie Weisman
