Jewish Communities of Vermont develops connections to promote pluralistic, inclusive, and welcoming Jewish life. The purpose of JCVT is to share, celebrate, and support Jewish life, in all its forms in Vermont.

 Deliverables:

Communications: Through our website, weekly newsletter and Facebook Page, JCVT shares event information and resources.

Events and Programs: JCVT hosts and co-sponsors events throughout the state. We aim to connect congregations and individuals across a pluralistic Jewish community.

Summit/Picnics: In-person, single or multi-day regional and statewide gatherings to bring together Jewish folk in Vermont to meet, talk, and enjoy shared interests and experiences.

Youth and Families: In addition to PJ Library in Vermont providing books to youth ages 0-12 and support for parents, JCVT sponsors activities and programs for children of all ages, including teens through PJ Our Way. We offer parent education courses and have parent connectors to help create community among young families.

Exploring Vermont Jewish Life: We are continually working to document Jewish Life in Vermont. Through Profiles of Jewish Life, our Conversation Series, Newsletter essays, and Event speaker series, we explore the breadth of what it means to be Jewish in Vermont.

Connecting Congregations: JCVT helps organize clergy, board leadership, and educators to meet regularly and support each other. The JCVT website hosts information about each congregation and clergy members to offer a gateway to the congregations throughout the state.
