Community Organizing as
a Faith-Based Response to Injustice
Sarah Jane Knoy, Executive Director of the Granite State Organizing Project (GSOP), has 25 years of experience in community organizing efforts. She will speak about the power of community organizing and how it can work to strengthen the power and capacity of GSOP and its member institutions through developing and training leaders, recruiting new members, and developing issue-specific strategic campaigns.
Lunch and a period of schmoozing will begin immediately following the Shabbat service at the Roth Center at 11:30, and Ms. Knoy will begin her talk, with Q&A, at noon. It will last approximately one hour.
