Mission Statement – To promote the spiritual, educational, and social welfare of its members; to maintain a house of worship for the community; to maintain a religious school; to maintain and promote facilities for youth and adult activities; and to strive for the constant betterment of society in accordance with the ideals of Judaism.

Organization Description -An integral part of Jewish life in Southern Vermont for more than 100 years, Israel Congregation comprises approximately 140 member families of diverse Jewish backgrounds, both full-time and part-time residents of southern Vermont. We provide Shabbat evening services every week and Torah study on Shabbat mornings. We celebrate and observe Shabbat, holidays, festivals, and life cycle events. We are proud of our religious school and adult education program, as well as cultural, social, and family programming, all offered in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are a friendly place for worship and community.

Preneg 5:45 every Friday. Worship 6:30 every Friday. Communal Table after worship every Friday. Tot Shabbat second Shabbat morning of each month at 9 a.m. Torah and Worship each Shabbat morning at 9:30 a.m.
