10th Annual Sukkot on the Farm Festival

Sept. 29–Oct. 1

Celebrate the Jewish harvest holiday of Sukkot at the Living Tree Alliance as we come together for a weekend filled with song, learning, nature, community, delicious food, and fun. Our festival is geared for all ages, so bring your family and friends! Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere under the shelter of our creatively designed temporary dwelling, the sukkah. Whether you come for the traditions, the teachings, or the farm fun, you’ll find a weekend of inspired conversations, playful activity, and joy.

We’ll have programming running from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, so you’re invited to bring a tent and spend the entire weekend with us—or just join us for select activities.

Many local Rabbis and leaders will join us to share their talents, come meet them!

Some of the weekend’s highlights include:

Puppet Show to honor Shabbat & Sukkot with Talking Hands Theater. Musical & Embodied Prayer Shabbat morning services, followed by a catered lunch and more!Saturday evening program: harvest veggie soup from the farm and bread from Red Hen Bakery, Havdallah led by Rabbi Aaron Philmus from OZ, followed by a concert with Vermont’s blistering-hot jazz and blues band Red Hot Juba.Local Lulav Making with Clam Chesed from JCOGSHarvest Festival on Sunday, with sauerkraut making, apple pressing, scavenger hunts, and a special performance for the kids by Musical Munchkins.
