The screening of “Where is Anne Frank” is still on for AUGUST 27th! 


Where is Anne Frank” is an animated film based on author  and filmmaker Ari Folman’s graphic novel of the same name. The text is based on Kitty, Anne Frank’s diary. This is a free private preview screening at Beth Jacob Synagogue, followed by a Q&A. The graphic novel will be available there for a minimum donation of $18. Books will be on sale at the event, but you can reserve one or more on the event registration page as well.  The screening and discussion will be geared towards older children and teens, 10-18

yo. Younger children can attend if accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied drop off time: 5:30-5:45, film screening at 6 pm.  Pizza,drinks and cookies will be served free of charge. Adults are welcome.


The SJFF Executive committee is pleased to remind you  that the Savoy Theater will be the recipient of the prize draw ticket sales to help with their flood recovery. The Savoy has been a staple in Washington County for independent films since 1981 and remains the only arthouse cinema in Vermont!  We are honored to partner with the Savoy for the 8th annual Stowe Jewish Film Festival, and humbled to offer them our support in turn. Tickets are only $10 each and Prizes have a $1360 value, including: Sugarbush Quad Pack, gift certificates to: restaurants and retail stores in Stowe, the Mad River Valley, Montpelier and Burlington. Your support is greatly appreciated. The drawing will happen live at the screening of "The Story of Annette Zelman" 10/19, but you do not need to be in attendance to win a prize.
