How It Works:
Online, In Nature, & In your Home
The Vermont Jewish Community Virtual Shavuot Summit is an online gathering of Jewish communities throughout the state. We are coming together to celebrate our resiliency and vibrancy as spring arrives here in the Green Mountains.
Music, Services, Learning, And More!
Our schedule is jam-packed full of amazing opportunities to learn and grow together. Whether you want to finally learn to bake blintzes, discover a new craft, or dive into meaningful conversations, there is something for everyone at the summit.
Attend As Many Events As You Want
All events are FREE! The summit’s events span 3 days of engaging activities, learning opportunities, and musical experiences. Registration is only required for some events. You can attend as many (or as few) events as you’d like throughout the summit. Go at your own pace or stay for the whole festival!

Online Live Concert with Nefesh Mountain
Saturday May 30th, 8:30 p.m.
Nefesh Mountain is the place where Bluegrass, Old-Time, and American Roots music meet with Jewish heritage and tradition. They are pioneering a new world of American culture which seamlessly blends their deep love for American and Western musical forms with their own cultural backgrounds as Jewish Americans. Join us Saturday Night for a live concert to close out our Shavuot retreat with joy.
Other Summit Highlights
Saturday May 30th, 10:00 a.m.
Join Living Tree Alliance for a self guided journey that integrates the beauty of Spring with personal reflection, revelation, and gratitude. With inspirational guidance this pilgrimage invites exploration and allows for deep connection to self, earth, and ancestral wisdom. On this harvest festival of First Fruits, we welcome you to witness all that is fruiting inside of you!
Paper Cutting with Rosa Leff
Friday May 29th, 4:00 p.m.
“Rosa Leff’s papercuts push the boundaries of the two-dimensional world. …It’s upon close inspection that the separation of the cut image from it’s backing creates a landscape of shadows that makes the work reside in neither the two nor three-dimensional realm.”
-Evan Paul Laudenslager, ArtBlog
Connecting with your Community
